Three Rivers, Taiwan

This 3 +1 bedroom home in the exclusive Three Rivers sea side development combined traditional Chinese principles and modern styling with clean lines and architectural symmetry to create an expansive and functional living experience

Design Features

The sense of separation and division of the entry area from the other living zones, in line with feng shiu principles, was created by use of a floor to ceiling timber clad blade wall.

This feature helped also to anchor the inbuilt entertainment unit, shoe storage and fitting area whilst creating a visual marker for the entry area.

Separation between the home office area and main living zone was created with a customizable shelving screen, so as to create visual separation, but keep a feeling of openness and semi connection throughout the space.

The office area floor was raised so as to capitalize on the sweeping exterior views, which in turn created additional concealed office storage within the floor cavity.

Providing sufficient space for all the client's home office needs, the design also incorporated a standing work area, complete with a movable white board, that transformed into storage for the clients record and turntable collection
